Our accommodation policies state that cancellations will be refunded if made at least 10 days prior to your arrival. Reservations canceled within 10 days are nonrefundable. Check-in is after 3 pm and check-out is at 11 am. We allow 1 person per bed in the dorm. Please note, children under 12 are not permitted; our dorm room policy is strictly for guests aged 16 and over. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Guest pets are not allowed inside the hostel, but we welcome pets for tent and van campers, provided they are on a leash at all times while on the property. Typically, you will find an official hostel cat and a hostel dog in the common areas. We do allow service animals, which must remain with their owner 24/7 and cannot be left unattended at the Arete Hostel. However, guests with service animals are not permitted to stay in the shared dorm room. Smoking and vaping are prohibited. Our quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am, during which only overnight guests are allowed on the property. We reserve the right to remove anyone for disruptive behavior, and illegal drugs are not permitted on the property. Fees may be charged if repairs for damage or excessive cleaning are necessary. Firearms and fireworks are also not allowed. Please help us maintain a clean environment by cleaning up after yourselves in common areas. We supply towels to hostel guests, but van and tent campers should bring their own. Additionally, our bedding style is Euro-style, providing a fitted sheet and duvet; if you prefer a top sheet, feel free to bring your own.
