We provide 1-gig fiber optic WIFI. It's fast and pretty awesome. Remote worker friendly. 

Check-in: 3pm / Check-out: 11am

Each guest receives a unique code for entry to the house, as well as entry to their room. Digital self check-in. 

**We do not have a front desk. Please make sure you have a reservation before arriving. We operate with contactless self check-in**

There is typically an official hostel cat & a hostel dog onsite. They are allowed in the hostel common spaces indoors. 

No guest pets allowed inside. Pets are welcome for tent and van campers, but must remain on leash at all times while on the property.

We do allow service animals. They must be accompanied by their owner 24/7, and cannot be left unattended at the Arete. People with service animals can not stay in the shared dorm room. 

The Arete features a fully equipped kitchen with both an induction and gas stovetop, plus an electric griddle for versatile cooking. It includes a 36" oven and a 12" oven. You'll also find a microwave, coffee machine, pressure cooker, refrigerator, dishwasher, stand mixer, and toaster oven. The kitchen is stocked with a full set of pots, pans, and utensils. 

There's a washer and dryer in the laundry room (typically closed from 11am-3pm for turn-over). 

We have the "garage lounge" with pool table, Nintendo Switch, and streaming.

There's whole home fresh air circulation. Each bedroom has it's own heating a cooling control. 1-gig fiber optic internet!

Extra features: 1080p projector with Roku streaming (mainly for watching the Twilight saga), automated lighting, and house plants!

No  children under 12 allowed.

The shared dorm room is 16+ 

People under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian

Each exterior entry has a video camera as well as an auto-locking keypad. Each guest receives a unique code for entry to the house, as well as entry to their room. Those codes are inactivated when the booking ends.

For guests staying in the shared dorm room, lockers are available by the front door where you can lock up smaller valuables. 

What a specific question... but yes! We have done away with that pesky flat sheet that somehow ends up wrapped around your head by morning. Each bed is reset with a fresh fitted sheet, duvet cover, and pillow cases. 

Oh yeah. We're locally owned and operated. The Arete is an artisanal, small-batch experience. 

• Cancellations will be refunded if made 14 days prior to arrival. Within 14 days, the reservation is nonrefundable

• Quiet hours are 10pm to 8am 
• Only overnight guests allowed on the property between 10pm to 8am
• We reserve the right to remove anyone for disruptive behavior
• Illegal drugs not allowed on property
• We will charge fees if repairs for damage or excess cleaning is required
• No firearms or fireworks
• Please clean up after yourselves in common areas
• We supply towels to hostel guests. Van and tent campers should plan to bring their own towels
• We are Euro-style in our bedding and supply a fitted sheet and duvet. If you want a top sheet, feel free to bring your own
